Jim Gonsalves

Jim Gonsalves is a dedicated individual with two decades of distinguished service in the United States Army, where he retired with the rank of Captain. His commitment to service extends far beyond his military tenure. For the past seven years, Jim has proudly served as the Commander of VFW Post 486, providing strong leadership and fostering a sense of community among veterans. Additionally, he had the privilege of serving as Commander of the Fall River Veterans War Council, contributing six years of dedicated service to this vital organization.

Throughout his journey, Jim’s unwavering passion for supporting and advocating for fellow veterans has remained at the heart of his mission. His leadership and commitment to the veteran community continue to inspire those around him.
